???

Double rainbow's all the way, man.  Did you see the video or see one?

Sleep deprivation sucks.  It's really obvious a person a person has mental issues when he/she is.

Lemons

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.  Although lemonade is yucky, it's at least it's made.  It's a sentence that is short and holds a lot of meaning.

Life has always had many obstacles but it fully is how one sees it.  The negative outlook of the obstacle is the easiest outlook to come to anyone.

The positive outlook is always the hardest outlook but is the most rewarding.

Humans, like water, take the path of least resistance. A good example is the blog.  It is my individual goal to try hard to write in it daily.  It's easy to not write anything,  but it's done and I feel as though I've accomplished a goal.

LINC Study

The LINC study was/is a study of people with neurological diseases over a year.  Some of the study results are available on the Web site.

The participation in the study was voluntary.   Every month someone called asking questions.

Here are some of the results:  http://www.ccmrg.ca/linc/

Quarantine - Day 7

Someone on the floor lived on has/had (It's unknown to me who or anything) the flu so the floor is quarantined.

It's no longer not stopping anybody from leaving the building (if a person leaves directly).  Visitors must wash their hands before/after a visit.  Quite a few people are willing to visit.

Any current appointments are being rescheduled for another time.  Hopefully no one has flu then.

It's been a stressful time.  But like everything it will all pass soon.  It always does!  There is a silver lining.  It exists.  Roll-up-the-rim has returned to Tim Horton's!

Charity

Charity.  Even though the body isn't as charitable as the mind wants to be.  A fairy God-Mother came to visit today.  The pen was her magic-wand.

A television may be in my room soon.  There will only be two channels, but Coronation Street is on one of the two.

It's a loaner television which is great.  A really old television at the old apartment sat on the floor under the dining table.  It collected dust for three years.

Cable hasn't been been paid for since 2005.  Commercials are not something which should be paid for.

Colours

Colour in Canada has a "U."  But that doesn't matter.  What matters is the awesome "reds" and "blues."  What is your favourite colour?  Red is the preferred colour here.  Green is the least liked colour but the one which is sought after because of the this.

Colours can totally change your thoughts about something.  Purple was in the front & back of the hair.  Who knows how many people mistook my personality based on the hair colour.  Purple hair has been wanted for ages.

But red.  Perhaps when the hair is short.

Blogging Rules

Even though the rules for this blog were unwritten (until now), they've been followed most of the time.  The first and number one rule is not to follow the rules.  Easy enough.  Here are some added rules followed:
  • Write daily but one day off writing per week is allowed;
  • Try not to complain too much;
  • Be honest;
  • Be positive.  This rule really helps the day pass smoother;
  • Try not to use "I" or "ME".  Try to make the grade 12 English teacher proud even though it's highly unlikely he reads the blog;
  • Try to get past personal boundaries and comfort zones;
  • Don't feel guilty about the genuine feelings which are written;
  • Never discuss peoples' private details;
  • All information discussed in the blog is the authors' (yep, me) opinion only.  The information discussed in this blog is not the opinions of anyone or any organisation involved with the authors' life.

Google.ca

Google maps has been a fantasy world brought to life over the past few years.  The pyramids in Egypt can be visited from a desk chair and no plane fare has to be paid!  Paris at the Eiffel Tower is cool.

 Did you know there is a lake called Big Ass Lake in Nova Scotia, Canada?  It's not on the map the last time it was checked.

VD

VD is my acronym for Valentine's day.  What a fantastic grey gloomy day for it.  There may be clouds parting from one another at sometime to let sun shine through.

Today is the anniversary of my first Multiple Sclerosis related incident.  11 years ago I fell at a bus stop.  I call today my MS-aversary.  My diagnosis ten year anniversary is in April. Oh, today is awesome.

Well, that was sarcastic.  I'm in need of a happy VD day!  Luckily there is one in a year.

Writers-Block

Writers-block happens frequently.  It's currently slowing this blog from progressing.  When everything is distracting and focus isn't there, it's a miracle anything is written.

Sunday

Another Sunday.  Yee-haw.  It's grey outside and inside.  The baby elephant  photo is the wallpaper on the laptop to try and brighten the day.  It's not working.  Ah well.  The day is more than half finished.

Baby elephants.  They are clumsy yet they don't seem to realize how powerful they are.  Good old elephants.

Canadian Tire

Canadian Tire is the store.  It is only in Canada.  It's more of an car/outdoor store.  The aroma of tires has been a weird comfort.

Everything and kitchen sink is at this store.  The store also has shovels and snowblowers for Canadians.  Thank goodness on days like today.  A lot of snow fell.

You know you're Canadian when you get lost mentally when you're watching a Zambonihttp://www.halifax.ca/SkateHRM/webcamera/nojava.html

Energy.   If only Humans could recharge in a regular electrical outlet.

Penniless

Pennies (one cent coin) are officially worthless today in Canada.  The former bookkeeper or I recognize this event as monumental.

*Correction - Pennies have the same value, but they are no longer given as change*

Stars

Star gazing.  It is so pretty and amazing.  There are so many more that are not visible.  Squamish, British Columbia, Canada is a great spot to gaze.

Then again, the more remote and light-free a place is, the better. Most nights the first star was wished on.  The spooky thing was the wishes came true.  The Jem doll became a reality.  A star brought a doll.  Really, many different circumstances brought the doll.

A feeling of foreknowledge has always been there.  It's scary.  Perhaps coincidences are paid attention to and that's why their noticed.

Many coincidences have been funny.  A Mexican taxi with a flat tire within view of the airport.  It happened in a dream first.  A star wasn't wished on.  Perhaps it should have been.

Some More Words....

Back to the regular scheduled program...  Words, words, words..  Mr. Wholey, grade 11 and 12 English teacher, taught most of these words.  Thank you Mr. Wholey. Did you have a teacher whom affected you?

Okay, back to words:
Words which are confusing to me are in the list.  The English I know defies grammar.   Grammar was not understood well enough.  Yet writing was natural to me.
